Honor Flight Northeast Indiana is a recognized independent hub of the Honor Flight network and was created to raise funds and provide volunteers to take veterans from WWII and all wars after directly from Fort Wayne to Washington DC.
They do 4 flights a year and this year are doing a 5th flight on 7 August 2023 - exclusively 84 Purple Heart recipients and their guardians. Pride and Purpose Detachment pays the Marine's guardians cost of the trip.
